Why did you choose to work in the MICE tourism sector? What inspired you, and how long have you been in it?
With over 9 years of experience in the MICE tourism sector in Peru, I specialize in organizing corporate events, conferences, incentives, and exhibitions. I chose to work in this field because I am deeply motivated by the positive impact that MICE events have on the local economy and the international visibility of Peru. I am inspired by the opportunity to promote our culture, gastronomy, and landscapes through unique experiences that enrich participants. Throughout my career, I have adapted to new trends and technologies, allowing me to offer innovative and personalized solutions that exceed client expectations.
What is the best feedback a client has ever given you?
Working with Lucero was amazing. She’s committed to everything she does, and most importantly, I always felt heard and understood. She made everything so much easier, and the event turned out great. Highly recommend
What do you love most about your destination?
What I love most about Peru is its incredible diversity. From the breathtaking Andean mountains and the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu to the vibrant culture, rich history, and worldrenowned cuisine, Peru offers something unique around every corner. The warmth and hospitality of the people make it even more special—there’s always a story to be told and a new adventure to be had.
What’s the best hidden gem in your destination to share with a friend?
“One of the best hidden gems in Peru is the beautiful, lesserknown town of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. While many people focus on Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo is a perfect blend of history, culture, and stunning scenery. The town itself feels like a living Inca city, with its narrow cobblestone streets and ancient ruins. It’s a peaceful spot to explore, and it’s a great place to hike, visit local markets, and really immerse yourself in Peru’s heritage without the crowds.”
What does travelling mean to you?
Traveling for me is like a dream come true. It’s the chance to get close to those places I’ve always seen from afar, and now I can touch them, feel them, and truly experience them. Every trip allows me to discover something new, from landscapes to cultures, and moments I’ve always dreamed of seeing. It’s a unique feeling that fills my heart with excitement.
What do you miss most when you’re away from your destination?
I miss most when I’m away from Peru is the unique blend of Lima’s vibrant energy and Cusco’s rich history. In Lima, I miss the lively atmosphere of Miraflores, the delicious food in Barranco, and the ocean breeze. On the other hand, Cusco holds a special place in my heart with its ancient charm, the warmth of the people, and the incredible connection to Inca heritage. Both cities offer something irreplaceable, and they stay with me, no matter where I am
